A few weeks ago we brought a new addition into our family.
Her name is Sophie. She is currently snoring quite loudly on the floor behind me.
Here she is with her big brother Trent. Trent is on the left, Sophie on the right. She is the bossy little sister he never wanted. Poor guy.
They are both miniature schnauzers. Trent was a wedding present from a friend of mine that is a breeder. Sophie is a freebie from the local paper and a shelter rescue.
Sophie is doing very well with us with the possible exception of the time she yakked all over the couch. Of course, we did see the vet that day. She is learning to share better. Both dogs are snugglers. Lucky me. It's @#$% cold up here and they are nice additions to the blankets I wrap up in at night while watching TV.
I'm sure there'll be more adventures in store for us. See? I did promise pics and soon!

So cute! Cuter than speckled pups, both of them. I can see how cozy they would be to warm your toes or your lap. Sorry about the sofa. All is well now?
She's adorable. And I'm sure Trent will discover the joys of little sisters eventually.

They are both adorable. You're having 2 dog nights huh.
We have 1-4 cat nights because the dogs sleep in their crates. If any of them got on the bed, no one else would fit.
